First Week of Baseball

Our trip to Florida was a some what successful trip. We ended up going 5-3 with one of our games being rained out. However, at the beginning of the trip we ran into some very competitive teams that had already played multiple games when it was just the beginning of our season. Therefore, we were a little rusty playing outside in the sun after being kept indoors in the tarc for five months. Although the beginning was a little rusty, we ended out trip by taking two games from the number three ranked team in the nation by the scores of 16-3 and 10-4. all in all the trip was a great learning experience four our team and we were able to come together as a team at the end allowing us to go into our next three games in Minnesota on a role and feeling good about ourselves. Our next three games are against all Minnesota teams one of which is rated #1 in the national for D3 baseball. So we are pretty excited about this weekends challenge and are hoping to come out with three victory's.
