Carthage College overall record has improved to an overall 19-11 with a college conference overall record of 10-5. This past weekend the Carthage Redmen were able to take three games from Augustana college by the scores of 6-4, 9-8, and 6-0. The last game in which Eric Rohe pitched was able to shut down Augustana through all nine innings allowing just three hits and no runs. These last three games were very important to the Redmens chances to bring back the college conference title to Carthage. The Carthage Redmen have a double header on April 27th in Fond du Lac Wisconsin.

History
Carthage College baseball was only the second team in organized baseball, and also the only collegiate team ever to play and win four games in one day. The Redmen were able to accomplish this feet on May 18 1970 when they were able to take two games Illinois Wesleyan University by the scores of 12-3 and 6-5, and by taking two more games from North Park College by the scores of 5-0 and 2-0. Since this sweep Carthage had played more quadruple headers but were never able to sweep all four games from their opponents again. All in all its a great part of Carthage baseball history and there will be plenty of more history being made in the future.

Map of Carthage
View My Life and Carthage College in a larger map
My map shows where the baseball field is on Carthage's campus. It also shows where the hitting cages are where the baseball team practices a lot indoors. I also have shown the softball field that is located on campus. The house i lived in last year is shown and the route in which i took to get to the field. Nonetheless, i have shown the Pike River that destroys or baseball teams budget.
